Location Specifics	The American Lifeguard Association has trained over 100,000 individuals nationwide since 1990. The goal of the American Lifeguard Association is to improve the quality and accessibility of Health & Safety programs to the public... Our online CPR and First Aid training is a totally web-based course that teaches the national skills that are recommended by the American Medical Association. Students will learn how to respond to respiratory and cardiac emergencies. Students will learn rescue breathing, CPR, First Aid, disease transmission prevention and the systems of the body. Upon successful completion, we will mail you a 2-year Infant, Child and Adult CPR certification along with a 3 year First Aid certification issued by the American Lifeguard Association. The American Lifeguard Association is a nationally recognized organization that offers self-study programs that can train you now, so you do not have to wait for a group class that you may or may not be able to fit into your busy schedule. Whether you are a first time student, or you wish to recert your CPR and First Aid with our training program you can learn at your own pace, at home, and can get certified right away. Our online training courses incorporate text, audio, graphics, photographs, animations and videos to maximize the learning potential of all adult learners no matter what their learning style. Our programs are self-paced and interactive. Constructive feedback is provided to students throughout training and testing to improve student retention of important lifesaving skills. Our self study program allows individuals to learn at their own pace, and can be started anytime, and gives the student an opportunity to get certified in CPR and First Aid. This intuitive self-study program has recently drawn interest from the News media, including the Wall Street Journal.
